We want to give people more reasons to get together in person, have fun and build real connections. We’re building our first location today, with plans to bring that experience to 100+ locations. You’ll help shape the content and local relationships that make it happen.
Showdown Social combines hosted social card games with food, drinks, sports viewing and nightlife entertainment. Your goal is to give local people compelling reasons to visit Showdown and help turn content and community partnerships into attendance.
What you’ll do
- Develop video ideas, plan the shots, and film and edit content for social media and ads.
- Capture sports nights, recurring nightlife (e.g., karaoke and DJs), special events (e.g., Halloween) and people enjoying the venue.
- Develop grassroots marketing ideas, including local events and community partnerships, and help bring them to life through planning, content and promotion.
- Coordinate venue coverage, content reviews and publishing handoffs with our general manager and marketing team.
Who we’re looking for
You know how to open with a strong hook, capture authentic moments and make every shot serve a clear purpose. You can take an idea from concept to finished video, with clean editing and attention to detail. You work well with others, take feedback well and turn around revisions quickly.
You’re comfortable initiating conversations, building relationships and helping organize events. You have a strong work ethic: you take initiative, meet deadlines and follow through.
Experience with hospitality, entertainment or live events is a plus.
